Peter Thorne is a furniture maker from West Stockbridge, Mass. After many years of working for others and managing several furniture shops, he finds himself happily building fine furniture and cabinetry in his one-man shop behind his home. Peter works for a broad range of clients throughout the Northeast, from individuals to designers and architects, antique restorers, and of late a number of institutions. His commissions range from kitchens, libraries, and museum and gallery cases to conference tables, fine antique reproductions, and one off furniture pieces. He particularly enjoys the process of working with clients to take their ideas from concept to articulation of the finished piece.
